OUR GOD IS AWESOME

PSALM 65

 

Praise awaits You, our God, in Zion;

You who answer prayer, to You all people will come.

Psalm 65.1-2

 

The God of all Creation answers the prayer of anyone, anywhere, anytime

Whoever we are, wherever we are, whatever is happening to us, God is present and answers the prayer of all who call on Him.

 

Zion is another name for Jerusalem.

The Temple was in Jerusalem.

David spoke in and from the Temple here.

 

David saw the glory and goodness of God
     as he came to the Temple.

Moses saw these same things in the Tent.

John the Baptist saw them in the Desert.

Paul saw them with eyes of understanding as he prayed.

John saw them in Fellowship and Abiding.

 

 

John attributes Abiding to Jesus.

To John, Abiding meant to follow Jesus wherever He went.

 

Now, anywhere we are, the Holy Spirit of Jesus will meet us.

 

Now, today anyone, anywhere can experience

       the glory and goodness of God

              by abiding in the presence of Jesus.

 

To see and know the truth

of the real grace, glory, goodness, and greatness

of the true and living God,

we need only a place to meet with Him.

Our Creator will meet with us there!!!

 

 

If you Abide in Me and I in you,

you will bring forth much fruit.

 

Herein is My Father glorified—

that you bring forth much fruit.

John 15.1-8

 

This we proclaim concerning the Word of Life…

so that you also may have fellowship with us…

and our fellowship is with the Father

and with His Son. Jesus Christ.
