THE WAY OF GOD TO THE WILL OF GOD

THE WAY OF GOD TO THE WILL OF GOD

My word must abide in you.

John 15.7

The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue,

to know the word that sustains the weary.

He wakens me morning by morning,

wakens my ear to listen like on being instructed.

ISAIAH 50.4

Romans 15.9-12 says God makes us into "fishers of men," "salt and light," and

"witnesses," who make disciples, and teach men how to be faithful

to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  (Matthew 28.18-20; Acts 1.8)

I will praise you among the Gentiles; I will sing the praises of Your Name.

Rejoice, you Gentiles, with His people.

Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles; let all the peoples extol Him

The Root of Jesse will spring up, one who will arise to rule over the nations;

in Him the Gentiles will hope.

Romans 15.9-12

2 Corinthians 5.14-20 tells us that God’s purpose in and for our lives

is fulfilled by the authority, energy, and power of the Holy Spirit,

Who compels us to love others

Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all,

and therefore all died.

And He died for all, that those who live

should no longer live for themselves

but for Him Who died for them and was raised again.

So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view.

Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:

The old has gone, the new is here!

All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ

and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:

That God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ,

not counting people's sins against them.

And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

We are therefore Christ's ambassadors,

as though God were making His appeal through us.

We implore you on Christ's behalf:

Be reconciled to God..

2 Corinthians 5.14-20

John 15.1-17 tells how to receive all that God wants for us, which is exceedingly

above, all that we can ask or think--great and mighty beyond anything we can

imagine.

I am the Vine; you are the branches.

If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit;

apart from Me you can do nothing.

If you remain in Me and My words remain in you,

ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

This is to My Father's glory, that you bear much fruit,

showing yourselves to be My disciples.

John 15.5, 7-8

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son

That whosoever believes in Him

Should not perish

But have everlasting life.

John 3.16
