We have
different gifts according to the grace given to us.
Romans
12.6a
Everyone is
different. There is no one quite like
us. Sometimes someone reminds us of
someone we know, but no two are the same.
No identical
snowflakes. No identical sparrows.
Now we know, no
identical DNA.
Fingerprint, eye
print, voice print, footprint.
Everyone special,
unique.
Important. Needed.
Wanted. Loved. Cherished.
Think of
yourself with sober judgment,
in
accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.
Romans 12.3
As our faith in God
grows, He shapes us into a person different from any that has ever lived or
ever will.
As we think of
ourselves with sober
judgment, we will begin to see how
special and important we are to God.
If we are important
to God, He will help us become important to one another.
We can make the lives
of others better in countless ways.
Beginning at v. 9,
the apostle lists dozens of ways to bring value to others.
If we Think of
ourselves with sober judgment, we will
immediately find several things we can begin doing for someone we know.
Doing what for others
will open doors of opportunity, wisdom, and strength to bring more an more
goodness to more and more others.
We will rejoice with
humble gratitude for the riches of God's gifts He is granting us day after
day.
O the depth
of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
Romans
11.33
Thanks be
to God! He gives us the victory through
our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians
15.57
…in
accordance with the riches of God's grace
…The
incomparable riches of His grace,
expressed
in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus
...I pray
that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you
with power
through His Spirit in your inner being.
Ephesians
1.7, 2.7, 3.16
My God will
meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4.19
Think of
yourself with sober judgment,
in
accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.
