I have not found such faith even in Israel.
The Centurion's Servant--Luke7. 1-10
The centurion
recognized the concept of authority and power.
He understood that if
Jesus could heal in personal presence,
He could heal at a distance.
If Jesus could speak the word healed that servant,
He can speak the word from Heaven that will heal my soul today.
As Jesus' power reached across ancient Capernaum, He reaches across the universe from Heaven to Earth to heal my body, soul, and spirit today.
He speaks with the same authority from the Father, as the Son of God, to our hearts as He did to the heart of the centurion and the body of his servant.
I can see that seeing Your power to heal this centurion increases my power to believe and trust.
When I look at Your love for people in the Gospels, I can see that You love me.
From Heaven, Jesus opens new doors into my heart every time I call on His Name by faith--faith in His power, in His love, in His wisdom, His faithfulness....
The more I see about You, the more I trust You, and the more I experience of Your grace and power.
Each time I make the effort to "see" You, You increase my faith .
Each time I make the effort to "see" You, You increase my faith .
When I ask, I receive.
When I seek, I find.
When I look for You in Scripture,
I see You and become more of what You want me to be.
When I look at Your love for people in the Gospels, I can see that You love me.
From Heaven, Jesus opens new doors into my heart every time I call on His Name by faith--faith in His power, in His love, in His wisdom, His faithfulness....
As I read, I find, believe, realize more about Your
goodness, greatness, and glory and greatness.
goodness, greatness, and glory and greatness.
No wonder Paul could say:
Because I have not already obtained all this,
or arrived at my goal,
I press on to take hold of that
for which Christ Jesus took hold of me...
I press on toward the goal to win the prize
for which God has called me heavenward
in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3.12-14
