CORINTHIANS 2.1-16--RM/YOU--MYSTERIES REVEALED

Paul had focused on
You and You only. There was no
"expertise" to impress or attract any one by any means. He spoke only what You gave him without any
"attractive" speaking abilities.
What You gave him
was/is greater than the greatest wisdom and "how to" trainings of
this world. The wisdom of this world is
passing away. Only Your wisdom will
remain into eternity.
I want to speak to
others as he did--only of Christ, only of His love and grace.
All proclamation and
teaching must be around the way of "grace by faith in Christ Jesus."
"Jesus Christ
and Him crucified" is all that matters for Your eternal kingdom.
Everything else will
die.
[The planning and use of the hours of the days I have
left must be for You and from You, for You and from You only. I suppose the reading and meditation plans that
I have developed are effective enough for the time being.]
The only value is
that I speak the words given by Your Spirit for Your purpose and therefore
empowered by You. I have no power and no
wisdom, but You do.
"Christ the power of God and the wisdom of
God." 1 COR. 1.24
This wisdom is
directed towards developing knowledge of You and righteousness, holiness, and
redemption. (1.30)
You have a message
of the wisdom You have planned before the foundation of the world.
This message and the
wisdom it reveals was kept back until the coming of Christ.
The great wisdom of
redemption and restoration is now being revealed by Your Spirit to those You
choose out of the world for Your kingdom.
You revealed these
previously unknown and unrealized
mysteries to Paul.
Paul wrote them down
from his preaching and teaching.
You have preserved them here for me today.
I can read and
understand by Your Spirit opening my eyes to understand what Paul understood.
In reading this, then, you will be
able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made
known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit
to God's holy apostles and prophets.
Ephesians
3.4-5
You will proclaim to
others the mysteries of these mercies through the insight You give me.
