THE REIGN OF THE KING
ISAIAH 32

This chapter opens with a declaration of a vision of the King who will reign in righteousness through rulers with justice.

You are the King.  You appoint men to rule as shepherds, pastors, teachers, and counselors, to bring grace for wisdom and power, helping Your people find freedom through growing realizations of Your glory.

Rulers must be pure in their heart, true in their teaching, wise in their counsel, holy, righteous, real in their faith.

Good rulers, anointed by You and Your Spirit, are a refuge for Your people--

A shelter from wind, refuge from storm, streams in the desert, the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.

Eyes will see; ears will listen.

The fearful heart will know and understand, and the stammering tongue will be fluent and clear.

The noble make noble plans; by noble deeds noble plans stand.

Like the sower, seed has been sown on hearts that do not bear fruit.

These hearts are overgrown with thorns and briers, merriment and revelry.

There will be death until You raise up a prophets who will bring justice from the desert, so that righteousness will live in hearts that are fertile fields that bring forth 30-60-100 fold fruits.

You will send righteousness to Your rulers to bring peace, quietness and confidence to Your people forever.

No matter what adversities may come, Your people will learn to live in peaceful dwelling places, secure homes, undisturbed places of rest, blessed with the riches of Your grace and kingdom.

I need only come here to be with You with my heart seeking Your gloriousness to have You love me and give me love for others.

I heard the voice of the Lord saying,

"Whom shall I send?  And who will go for us?"

And I said, "Here am I.  Send me!"

Isaiah 6.8-9
